Meet Michele

Hi, I'm Michele, founder of Michele's Tutoring Services.

With over 15 years of experience, I am passionate about helping students gain confidence and achieve their academic goals.

As a qualified teacher with a Master of Teaching and an Engineering background, I understand that every student learns differently.

That's why we create personalised learning plans that make learning enjoyable, engaging and effective.

Student Learning Journey

We begin by getting to know each student through a learning profile, helping us match them with a suitable tutor and tailor lessons to their strengths, interests and goals. We welcome neurodivergent learners and adapt our pace, activities and resources to individual support needs, working with families to build confidence, independence and lifelong learning skills. Lessons can include clear routines, manageable steps, visual resources, hands-on activities and movement breaks, with flexibility in pace and how students demonstrate their understanding. We work with students and families to find approaches that help them feel comfortable, build confidence and develop independence, drawing on recommendations from their school or allied health professionals where provided.

SACE Subject Support
We provide personalised support for SACE Stage 1 and Stage 2 students, helping them understand subject content, strengthen study skills and approach assessments with confidence. Tutoring is tailored to each student’s subjects, school requirements and learning goals, with support in mathematics, sciences, English and humanities. Lessons can focus on challenging concepts, practice questions, revision, exam preparation and feedback on assignment drafts. With clear explanations, targeted resources and regular progress check-ins, we help students build understanding, manage their workload and become more independent learners. SACE Student Learning & Study Profile

Primary Education K-6
At Michele’s Tutoring Services, we provide personalised primary school tutoring for students across Adelaide and online, supporting children to build strong foundations in English, literacy, phonics, reading, writing, mathematics and general learning skills. We recognize that every child learns differently, including students who are neurodivergent or have additional learning needs, such as ADHD, autism, dyslexia or dyscalculia. Our tutors adapt lessons to each student’s strengths, interests, confidence and individual learning profile, using visual resources, hands-on activities, games, worked examples and step-by-step instruction where appropriate. Whether your child needs help catching up, support with schoolwork, confidence building or extension, our focus is on helping them understand how they learn, develop independence and create positive foundations for lifelong learning.

Secondary Education Grade 7-10
At Michele’s Tutoring Services, we provide personalized tutoring for Years 7–10 students across Adelaide and online, supporting students as they transition through secondary school and prepare for their senior years. Our tutors provide support across Mathematics, English, Science, Humanities and other core subjects, helping with current schoolwork while also identifying and strengthening underlying learning gaps. We support a wide range of learners, including neurodivergent students and students with ADHD, autism, dyslexia, dyscalculia, executive-function challenges or learning anxiety, adapting lessons to suit each student’s individual learning profile. Support can include one-to-one tutoring, homework and assignment help, structured skill development, extension, study and organization skills, self-paced resources and small-group learning. Our aim is to build confidence, independence and effective learning habits so students are well prepared for Year 10 and the transition into SACE and senior secondary study

Adult Learners & English Language Support
We can aim to support adult learners across Adelaide and online who want to strengthen their English, literacy, numeracy, study or everyday learning skills in a welcoming and personalised environment. Support can be tailored for TAFE and university support. Additionally English as an Additional Language (EAL/ESL) learners, including conversational English, reading, writing, vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation and practical English for work, study and everyday life. We can also assist adults returning to education, preparing for further study or employment, developing digital and study skills, or building confidence with mathematics and literacy. Lessons are adapted to each learner’s starting point, goals and preferred pace, with one-to-one, online and flexible learning options available to help adults build practical skills, confidence and greater independence.

Home Schooling Support
Michele’s Tutoring Services supports homeschooling families in Adelaide and beyond with flexible tutoring, practical resources and personalised learning guidance. We work alongside parents and carers to understand each child’s strengths, interests and goals, helping with literacy, numeracy, subject learning and engaging hands-on activities. We also welcome connections with homeschooling groups and community organisations to support shared learning opportunities. Whether your family needs regular lessons, help with a particular topic or ideas to build a learning routine, we aim to help children grow in confidence, independence and curiosity.

NAPLAN Support

Build confidence in reading, writing, spelling, grammar and numeracy with personalised NAPLAN preparation. We identify areas for support, strengthen core skills and practise question formats and test strategies at a comfortable pace, helping students feel prepared while developing skills they can use beyond the test.

LANTITE Support

Prepare for LANTITE with personalised literacy and numeracy tutoring for pre-service teachers. Build essential skills through clear explanations, targeted practice questions and strategies for managing time and approaching unfamiliar problems. Lessons focus on your individual needs, helping you prepare with confidence.

Self Paced Courses
Learn at your own pace with guided lessons, clear explanations, practice activities and downloadable worksheets. Revisit topics as often as needed and use quizzes to check understanding along the way. Our courses help students build confidence and independent study skills, with resources that can also be used alongside tutoring.
